What exactly is CueFox?
CueFox is a desktop video studio being built for software teams. Start from a prompt and your knowledge, an AI-led browser walkthrough, or your own screen recording. Bring it all into an editable timeline, polish the story, and export or explicitly publish it.
Who is it for?
Founders explaining a new product. Product marketers launching a feature. Customer success and training teams helping people get started. CueFox is for small software teams that need clear, consistent videos without a full production workflow.
Is CueFox available yet?
CueFox is in alpha development. Account and organization features are implemented; the complete desktop video workflow is still being built. The visuals on this page are interactive workflow previews, not a demonstration of a released editor. You can create a web account today; it does not include a desktop download yet.
What stays free, and what uses credits?
The product commitment is free manual desktop capture, deterministic local editing, and local MP4 export, independent of AI credits. Platform AI and voice operations will be metered separately. Paid plan prices, AI rates, and storage limits are still being finalized.
Does it run in my browser or on my desktop?
All video creation, recording, editing, rendering, and export happen in the desktop application. The web companion is for your account, team, knowledge sources, library, and publishing controls. macOS and Windows are the alpha targets; Linux is deferred.
What happens to my recordings?
Local media stays on your device until you choose an upload or publishing action. There is no automatic free cloud backup of desktop recordings. Publishing a hosted link or embed is an explicit step; AI-assisted creation cannot publish on your behalf.
